WHO THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR
If you've got a conference or big meeting to organise and you want to make sure it's a positive, productive experience, agenda planning can be a challenge.
The order of play, the length of time allowed for breaks, the style of sessions can all have a positive - or negative - impact on the effectiveness of the event. And let's face it, watching TED talks and reading blogs can only help you so much.
If you're wondering how to find ideas that feel right for YOUR conference in YOUR organisation, you'll want to join our online workshop.
In just 60 minutes you'll leave primed with an agenda structure that you can work from, as well as a bunch of engagers and interactive moments that you can use to make your conference rock - even if it's happening next week!
WHAT THE WORKSHOP WILL COVER
This virtual workshop is designed so you can get our help, fast.
As part of a small group of around 3-5 people, you'll develop your own tailored plan to make any conference agenda awesome, creating moments of interactivity that will bring a touch of light relief and a bucketload of energy to your event - whether it's next week, next month or next quarter:
WHO IS RUNNING THIS WORKSHOP?
Matt and Liz are two of the four The So Team partners, with decades of experience running workshops and events. We believe in the transformative power of positive psychology and creative thinking, and are practiced at engaging organisations from the inside-out; uplifting teams and engaging and inspiring individuals everywhere.
THE NINJA FACILITATOR
If this was a party (and there’s no reason why it shouldn’t be) Matt would be the life and soul.
That’s not just down to his impressive vinyl record collection, hilarious sense of humour and tendency to leave his shoes at the door (the sign of a well brought-up man). It’s the energy and vibrancy he brings to large groups of people to, quite literally, shake up stagnant energy to make room for positive change to happen.
Matt’s mission is to make the world of business a nicer place to be. He has been successfully teaching business innovation and creativity to organisations and individuals all around the world for the past 20 years. You could say it’s his life calling.
THE HUMAN CAPABILITY ENABLER
A self-confessed geek, Liz loves nothing more than seeing a complex problem broken down and reimagined. Liz is truly in her element when she’s enabling teams and individuals to find box-fresh solutions to their tangled-up challenges.
With a behaviour-centric philosophy, backed up by years of experience and fine-tuned over hundreds of client projects, she’s passionate about boosting collaboration within organisations to deliver increased productivity.
The aim of Liz’s game is to promote happiness and a sense of value in the work people do. She takes fun very seriously indeed.
If your question isn't answered below, feel free to contact us, we'll be happy to help.
WHAT will IT COST me?
Nothing! The workshops are free of charge to anyone who has downloaded our conference planning worksheets.
so what's the catch?
There really isn't one... if you're curious about what's in it for us, there are two things: firstly, we get to give you a real live experience of how it feels to work with us - after which you are free to make up your own mind about whether to take things any further. Secondly, every conference that's run in a more human way as a result of these workshops is a positive bonus in the world, and we're happy to have the opportunity to spread our knowledge and influence to make the world of business a bit more human.
can i bring other people?
Yes! In fact we'd positively encourage it - if you have a buddy during the workshop you'll be able to continue the good work together afterwards. Just let us know how many people you plan to bring so we can reserve you the right number of spots and make sure the total group doesn't get too big.
i can't make the dates - will you do this again?
At the moment these are our only scheduled virtual workshops. If you'd like to sign up to be notified about the next round, you can do so here.
