Who we are

We are Tim, Liz, Mat and Matt. Four individuals with a collective fire in our bellies for unlocking people’s innate creativity and capacity for innovation.

BACKGROUND

We came together in 2011, combining our collective 100 years of diverse experience that all leads back to one united mission: enabling people to work and play better together to help organisations prosper.

We truly believe in the transformative power of positive psychology, behavioural change and creative thinking and their ability to energise organisations from the inside-out; uplifting teams and engaging and inspiring individuals everywhere.

Good ideas and good relationships come from collaboration; collaboration comes from human connection and trust. This is true in all companies, across every geography.

We’re excited to share our passion for positive change, learn about you, and start something beautiful together.

Tim Widdowson

The Crusader

Tim’s mission is to make the seemingly impossible, possible with an approach that is open, kind and inclusive.

Everyone Tim comes into contact with finds themselves infected by his never-ending positive energy and passion for creativity. Tim has a unique talent for converting even the most hardened cynics to innovation and creativity activists.

As a behavioural change specialist, Tim’s experience is varied and deep. From tribal insights projects with Maasai Mara tribes in Kenya, to driving large scale organisational change programs within Abbott Pharmaceuticals.

Liz Evenden

The Human Capability Enabler

A self-confessed geek, Liz loves nothing more than seeing a complex problem broken down and reimagined. Liz is truly in her element when she’s enabling teams and individuals to find box-fresh solutions to their tangled-up challenges.

With a behaviour-centric philosophy, backed up by years of experience and fine-tuned over hundreds of client projects, she’s passionate about boosting collaboration within organisations to deliver increased productivity.

The aim of Liz’s game is to promote happiness and a sense of value in the work people do. She takes fun very seriously indeed.

Mat Freer

The Experimentalist

Have you ever looked around at the place you work and wished that things could be different? Wondered how much better it would be if there was more trust, better communication and people enjoyed themselves more?

Mat’s mission is to encourage everyone to take ownership for the way we do things around here: to make every interaction contribute to the overall work culture in a positive and collaborative way.

How? By adopting an experimental mindset to take calculated risks and try out new things.

Mat believes that with an understanding of the science behind human behaviour, you have the stimulus needed to create cultural experiments that have the power to shape and contribute to positive cultural change.

Matt Spencer

The Ninja Facilitator

If this was a party (and there’s no reason why it shouldn’t be) Matt would be the life and soul.

That’s not just down to his impressive vinyl record collection, hilarious sense of humour and tendency to leave his shoes at the door (the sign of a well brought-up man). It’s the energy and vibrancy he brings to large groups of people to, quite literally, shake up stagnant energy to make room for positive change to happen.

Matt’s mission is to make the world of business a nicer place to be. He has been successfully teaching business innovation and creativity to organisations and individuals all around the world for the past 20 years. You could say it’s his life calling.
